With a background in sales, marketing and business communications, Joy built a thriving marketing consulting practice in 2005. As a result of clients needing resources to execute the programs she was designing, she founded Access Marketing Company in 2006. Prior to founding the company, Joy created innovative Google Ads and social demand generation programs for tech and telecom clients nationally (way before Google Ads was mainstream).
Joy runs our growth and strategy teams and is engaged with select clients as Chief Marketing Executive.
Fun fact: Joy played Division 1 softball at the University of Kansas…go Jayhawks!
Before leading our operations team, Brandon owned numerous roles in product development, operations, and marketing in startup to enterprise organizations across various industries. He combines those decades of business and marketing experience to help our clients. Away from the office, Brandon manages to ski, drum for a 90s rock band, camp and hike in the Rocky Mountains and spend time with his wife and 3 daughters (a.k.a. his “estrogen army”).
Bet you didn’t know… Brandon used to design robots.
He’s a thrill seeker too. Brandon has gone skydiving several times; once over Key West.
A seasoned strategist, leader and communicator, Beth’s goal is to keep a steady stream (ok, fire hose blast!) of new business and marketing challenges in front of her. Though the bulk of her experience is in higher education, she has worked with B2B and B2C companies in a wide variety of fields. She will lead the company on our continued growth trajectory.
Beth has been playing and coaching competitive indoor and beach volleyball for more years than she cares to admit. You’ll also find her and her husband hiking, canning and preserving their summer bounty, and volunteering their time at Camp Ondessonk, a Catholic youth camp nestled in the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois.
Danielle joined AMC following 12 years in higher ed marketing. As a CMO, she led marketing, advertising and media relations initiatives. However, her role at AMC lets her focus on what she loves most – growing outstanding creative teams, building marketing programs that align marketing and sales and feeding her competitive side by chasing new ways to win.
She earned a BS in public relations and an MBA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and she still calls the St. Louis metro east home. Outside of work, you’ll find her “adventuring” with her son, exploring art and restaurants with her partner and extolling the virtues of American craft gin.
Mike has worked in the creative industry for over 10 years and has worked in a wide breadth of creative endeavors including ecommerce and web development, marketing automation design and video production and editing. The most enjoyable part for him is leading creatives to refine their craft and expand their skills. A true believer of efficiency, his creative philosophy is built around keeping noise to a minimum and user objectives at the heart of everything he and his team implement.
Mike is a native Coloradan, but is well traveled, including a year he spent touring North America in his trusty ‘Sue’ the Subaru. These days he spends most of his free time competing in disc golf tournaments and debating ethical dilemmas on his deck with ska music in the background. Don’t ever talk bad about Nathan MacKinnon while Mike is around, unless you’re looking for a Donnybrook.

“Leaders must own everything in their world. There is no one else to blame.”
Jen joined AMC to help us … okay, to manage us. Wrangle us. However that works. She comes by it naturally, having raised her two kids! She has volunteered at all of her kids’ schools and the parent boards, elementary through high school – serving as President for the elementary school, but much preferring the Treasurer role. When not cracking the whip at AMC, Jen is spending time with her family, playing games or pickleball, working jigsaw puzzles and scrapbooking. And she joins some of the crew at AMC who like working out.

A hardworking farm girl and Colorado native, Amy loves Malbec and Sinatra, horseback riding, glamping, hacking up golf courses with her husband and girls and growing yummy things in the garden. The more spinning plates the better.

After a whirlwind trip to Champagne, France, she and her fiancé have fully embraced the bubbly lifestyle and are now aspiring champagne aficionados. Of course, no bio would be complete without mentioning Nelson, their fur baby and undisputed king of the household.

When people need anything done quickly – they come to Kelsie. She’s been around the block at AMC, starting as an intern in 2017. She knows a thing or two because she’s seen a thing or two (wait…you’ve heard that before, right?). She has trained as a program manager, worked on the copy writing team, been an assistant to the CEO, worked in the billing department, and just recently started with the operations team. Kelsie is AMC’s Swiss Army Knife, jumping in wherever she can be helpful and whenever someone needs something done.
Kelsie earned a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Northern Colorado where she also played volleyball (she’s #15 in the photo). She and her fiancé, Andrew, recently moved to South Carolina. Outside of work she enjoys reading, crocheting, hot yoga, cheering on the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) and teaching everyone at AMC Gen-Z slang.
Ryan’s background in Division I softball, coupled with a solid foundation in Biology and Chemistry, gave her a keen sense of discipline and analytical precision. Now, her dedication (read: stubbornness) to solve problems and ensure accuracy makes her a linchpin in account-based marketing research and in the implementation of tech-heavy marketing programs. Ryan’s steady ascent over three years at AMC is a testament to her diligence and sharp problem-solving skills.
But it isn’t all data and analytics with her. Outside of work, you’re likely to find her deeply engrossed in a book – perhaps revisiting Middle-Earth with Frodo and Sam for the umpteenth time – or eagerly planning her next trip to visit her two sisters.

Barb brought a unique “non-marketing” perspective to Access Marketing – she’d previously worked in trail conservation, law enforcement, education, construction … you get the picture. Barb’s like a Swiss army knife – she helps book travel and coordinate appointments for the team, works on lead gen lists for some clients, is hell on combining and cleaning up client lists, and loves proofreading and editing. Be sure you dot that “i,” cross every “t,” use proper grammar and punctuation, and align those graphics! If you need it done, chances are Barb can do it.
For fun, Barb gardens (and puts up darn fine jam), enjoys action movies and old TV shows, snuggles with her pup Katie, cooks, and reads. She’s incredibly proud of her niephew, who is smart, independent, and marching to her own drummer.
